Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the PB Cambridge Consult website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our consulting services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement and Who These Terms Cover

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of pbcambridge.com — including the PBC iSAT pages at /isat and the PBC EduAid pages at /eduaid — and, where stated, our paid consulting services. By browsing this website, registering for iSAT, engaging our services, or posting a comment, you accept these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accept them on your behalf for any paid engagement or competition registration.

2. What Our Services Are — and What They Are Not

PB Cambridge Consult provides education consulting: university and course selection, application preparation and submission, scholarship guidance, standardized-test preparation, visa application counselling, accommodation guidance, and pre-departure support. We are consultants and coaches. We are not a university, an embassy, a licensed immigration lawyer, or a scholarship awarding body.

No outcome is guaranteed. Admission decisions belong to universities, scholarship decisions to funders, and visa decisions to governments. Any figures we publish about past results (such as our historical visa approval rate) describe past clients and do not promise your outcome. Anyone who tells you an admission or visa can be bought or guaranteed is defrauding you — walk away and report them.

3. Your Responsibilities as a Client

  • Provide truthful, complete, and unaltered documents. We refuse to work with forged results, fabricated bank statements, or false statements of purpose, and we will end an engagement without refund if forgery is discovered.
  • Meet the deadlines we agree with you. Universities and embassies do not wait, and late documents can void work already done.
  • Pay all third-party fees directly where required — application fees, test fees, visa fees, the UK Immigration Health Surcharge, and similar charges are set by third parties and are separate from our service fees.
  • Tell us promptly about anything that affects your applications, such as a changed result, a refused visa history, or a name discrepancy across documents.

4. Fees, Payment, and Refunds

Our service fees are quoted in writing before any engagement begins, and work starts after payment or an agreed instalment. Because consulting is delivered as work performed — research, document preparation, submissions, coaching sessions — fees for work already performed are not refundable. If you cancel an engagement early, we will refund any portion covering work not yet started, less reasonable administrative costs. Fees paid to universities, test bodies, or governments are governed by those bodies' own refund rules, not ours.

5. PBC iSAT Competition Terms

  • Registration must be completed by a school coordinator, parent, or guardian, and registration details must match the student's school records.
  • Examination malpractice of any kind — impersonation, unauthorised materials, communication during the sitting — leads to disqualification of the student and, for coordinated malpractice, the school.
  • Scoring and ranking decisions by the iSAT examining panel are final. We will correct administrative errors (such as a mis-recorded name or school) when reported promptly.
  • Prizes, awards, and fee waivers are as announced for each competition cycle and cannot be exchanged for cash unless expressly stated.
  • By participating, schools and parents consent to publication of results (student name, school, and score) and event photography for iSAT's results pages and galleries. A parent may opt a child out of photography by writing to us before the event.

6. PBC EduAid Donations and Volunteering

Donations to PBC EduAid programmes are voluntary gifts applied to the programme areas we publish (such as school outreach and the Pad a Girl Child initiative). Where a donation is made for a named programme, we apply it to that programme or, if the programme is fully funded or discontinued, to the closest active equivalent — telling the donor where practical. Volunteers act under our coordinators' direction and must follow our child-safeguarding expectations during school visits.

7. Using This Website, Blog, and Comments

Our blog articles are general guidance written for Nigerian students; they are not immigration, legal, or financial advice, and requirements change — always verify current rules on the official university or government website (see our Disclaimer). When commenting, do not post abuse, spam, advertising, personal data of others, or content that is unlawful in Nigeria. We may remove comments that break these rules.

You may not scrape, republish, or systematically copy our content, probe our systems for vulnerabilities, or use this website to distribute malware or fraud.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content on this website — articles, guides, page designs, the PB Cambridge and PBC iSAT names and logos, and iSAT examination materials — belongs to PB Cambridge Consult. You may share short quotations with a link back to the source page. Full reproduction, republication, or commercial use requires our written permission. Documents you supply to us remain yours; work products we prepare for your applications may be used by you for those applications.

9. Third-Party Links and Advertising

We link to official resources (universities, government visa pages, test bodies) and our pages may carry advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not control external websites or advertisers and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. The appearance of an advertisement is not our endorsement of the advertiser.

10. Liability

We carry out our services with professional skill and care. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, we are not liable for decisions made by universities, funders, or governments; for losses caused by inaccurate information you supplied; for third-party fee changes, exchange-rate movements, or travel costs; or for indirect losses such as lost opportunity. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for an engagement is limited to the service fees you paid us for that engagement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud.

11. Ending an Engagement

You may end an engagement at any time in writing, with refunds handled as described in section 4. We may end an engagement where a client supplies forged documents, is abusive to our staff, or requests services that would break the law — in those cases fees for work performed are not refunded.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will always try to resolve a complaint directly first — write to us and we will respond within 14 days. Unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.

13. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as our services evolve; the date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use after an update means acceptance. Questions about these terms: consult@pbcambridge.com, +234 816 776 1550, or our Contact page.
