About PBC iSAT

Shaping the Next Generation of Global Scholars

The PBC Inter-School Academic Assessment Test — known as PBC iSAT — was created by PB Cambridge Consult to address a critical gap in the Nigerian secondary school landscape: the absence of a rigorous, standardised academic competition that simultaneously prepares students for international examinations and opens doors to global university admissions. Since its founding in 2019, iSAT has grown from a small regional initiative into Nigeria's most recognised inter-school academic competition, attracting participants from over 200 schools across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

iSAT is deliberately modelled on the structure and rigour of the SAT — the globally recognised college admissions test accepted by virtually every university in the United States, as well as many institutions in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. By exposing Nigerian secondary school students to this format early, PBC iSAT builds the critical reasoning abilities and academic stamina that students need to compete successfully on the global stage. Top-performing students are referred directly to PB Cambridge Consult's scholarship and study abroad programs, meaning that iSAT participation can be the very first step in a journey that ends with a fully-funded university education abroad.
